Prevention and Response to Gender Based Violence
St Brigid’s Day, which is observed on the 1st of February, marks the beginning of spring in Ireland. Since 2018 Irish Embassies across the world have been marking St. Brigid’s day by organizing events focusing on women’s achievements, rights and creativity through programmes incorporating performances, talks and panel discussions.

Invited panellists will discuss topics ranging from victim support measures, policing and risk management, education/prevention, legislation and development of effective national strategies.
